Outdoor Water of Stones in Belém

In April 2023, a billboard made up of almost 500 plants arrived in Belém, bringing the Nature of Pedras to the city of Lisbon.

In this initiative, developed in partnership between FIOS Jardins Suspensos, Água das Pedras, Initiative, JCDecaux and BBDO, a living organism was created, a mini-ecosystem that brought more life to the street , and whose action is not limited in space or time.

The vegetation used in the natural outdoor display is approximately 90% domestically produced, and the five species chosen are resilient and suitable for outdoor use throughout the event. In support of the circular economy, the other materials used in the outdoor display are also natural, such as wood, or 100% recyclable.

After 28 days, the used vegetation will be transplanted to Pedras Salgadas Spa & Nature Park, where it will be added to the 1,800 species planted as part of the ongoing reforestation program. This will contribute to soil regeneration, reforestation, and the park's biodiversity.
