Preserved Kokedamas

One of the great advantages of preserved kokedamas compared to natural kokedamas is that they do not need water or sunlight, because they are preserved/stabilized.

Ideal for decorating indoor spaces. There are no maintenance issues like kokedama made with live plants.

Maintains its natural aesthetic without any maintenance.

Preserved kokedama retain their beauty for a long period of time, often years, and can be hung or placed.

However, to ensure your preserved kokedama stays vibrant for years to come, there are a few tricks you can do to make it last longer.

1. DO NOT PLACE IN ENVIRONMENTS WITH EXCESSIVE HUMIDITY

If you choose to place a bathroom, for example, place it in a more ventilated or airy area.

Excess moisture can cause preserved plants to mold or collect water droplets and cause their natural dye to drip.

2. AVOID CONTACT WITH DIRECT SUN

This requirement is very important for the preserved moss kokedama to last for years.

Direct sunlight discolors and dries out preserved moss and plants and completely changes the hues and textures of the plants.

The ideal is to place it in a place where there is INDIRECT natural light, or even in spaces that do not have natural light.

3. DO NOT PLACE NEAR AIR CONDITIONING OR RADIATORS

It is NOT advisable to place preserved kokedama near a radiator or air conditioner, as this can alter humidity levels and cause changes in the preserved plants.

4.DUST CLEANING

All materials used in preserved kokedama do not attract dust. However, if you want to clean them after a while, you can use a duster and wipe them with very gentle movements.

5. TOUCH GENTLY

You can touch and feel the different natural textures of the plants. Just be careful, as preserved plants are delicate and can be easily damaged.

Preserved kokedamas stand out when placed in clusters. This way, you can create your own hanging gardens without the worry of maintenance.
